Great work in shooting down the Thruway!

Hello, I’m a skateboarder from Kingston. I’m 20 years old and I’ve lived here my whole life. I’ve been wanting to see a skatepark in Kingston since I started skating at 8 years old. We had an indoor park called TSX on Albany ave that was open from 2004ish-2007. It closed when I was 10. Ever since then, I’ve been traveling all over New York just to skate. I get kicked out for skating on private property in Kingston and some cops will hassle me for skating in the road. I spoke with a Gerald Burke earlier today and he told me to check out this website and start pushing for one. I think it would be an awesome idea and would help kids stay out of trouble. Around 2011-2012 some friends and I that I skated with in High School went to city hall and talked with the mayor. We had meetings setup and it seemed promising but nothing ever came of it. I would like to try again. I’ll drop my email so you can reach me. Thank you!
I would like the NKTD to be removed from our backyards. They were not invited into the community and can not obey the noise laws. They need to operate at an industrial site and should not be operating in the middle of a neighborhood. They do not have the right to degrade my neighborhood and frankly it would be a lot nicer without them. I will not contact NKSD anymore as I will not be intimidated or bullied by them anymore, if I have to get a lawyer I will .We voted for a high school not a transportation dept. the citizens in habitat for humanity must be devastated. NKSD thinks they can do whatever they want I guess and we just gonna take it . HOW DARE THEY DEGRADE OUR PROPERTY!!
